Project: 99 Red Balloons
To celebrate the launch of a reinvigoration of the Virgin Red Awards program we were asked to design and produce an eye-popping and thought-provoking stunt ‘moment’ to include the theme of ‘99 Red Balloons’
The Persuaders created an illusion stunt where we seemingly floated an ice cream van above Observation Point on London’s South Bank with just 99 red balloons.
In fact we created a clever cantilever steel framework and ladder engineered to created this exact illusion.
We served ice cream and gas out 99 prizes to passers by. One consumer during the day won 1million points!
