Client WTA
For the last two years we have worked with the WTA on their pre-Wimbledon party, for 2018 they wanted to expand the party and celebrate with the public. With a series of new photographs of the top female players and a new campaign focussing on ‘Women That Aspire’ to work with, we were tasked to create an interactive exhibition space and a fanzone for the public, a red carpet moment for players and celebrities to walk, as well as an indoor exhibition space and party for the players.
On 28th June on Bernie Spain Gardens we created a branded viewing space for guests to watch a live link to Eastbourne on a giant screen with a mini purple tennis court to host everything from tennis lessons with Judy Murray for local school children to live interviews with Monica Sellers.
We also designed giant structures to house the new life size photography of the players, these structures were inspired by the lines of a court, on a giant WTA purple platform, with an area for the public to view and take snaps of the real World No. 1 Trophies.
Inside OXO2 we curated an exhibition of the photography and used bold lines to create flow through the space, inspired by the motion of the game. This space was used for a media lunch followed by high profile interviews and an evening party attended by the biggest names in Women’s Tennis.
